    Connecting xbox one to tv


    Hi I'm having the same problem connecting my Xbox one to my Bush 42inch 3D tv, I connected my Sky+HD box fine. Bush not even a brand in list. Entered model number (ELED42240FHDCNTD3D). I tried the codes suggested earlier in this thread, but no luck.....

    Xbox One has no HDMI signal and goes to Green Screen of Death.

    Which Xbox One is it? The original or the new Xbox One S?

    Could you try the following?

    • Try connecting your Xbox One to another TV is possible.
    • Try using another HDMI to connect from the Xbox One to the TV. This may see if it's your console or the HDMI cord you're using is bad.
    • Connect the HDMI to another port of your TV (HDMI 1, HDMI 2).

    Unfortunately there is no way to connect the internal Receiver of the TV to the Xbox One for TV functions,

    The HDMI IN on the Xbox One is designed to work with Satellite or Cable TV which involves having a separate box that normally connects to the TV with an HDMI cable.

    The wired or wireless connection is handled through your router, not the Samsung Smart TV. Samsung Smart TV has nothing to do with Xbox One. Connect the Xbox One directly to your wireless or wired router, not your Samsung Smart TV.

    On some TVs, if an HDMI-connected device is causing a shrunken output, there should be a TV setting that adjusts "overscan", which adjusts the size of the output on the screen.
