Connecting Xbox one to stereo

Hello I am looking into getting a new shelf system and wanted to connect it to my Xbox one. The stereo I was looking at is the lg cm 4550 it has Bluetooth and dual USB ports I know Xbox one doesn't have Bluetooth but I didn't know if there was an adapter
I could use.I do have a turtle Beach headset with that adapter and I could go the old school way. Just wondering any help will be appreciated thx

Have you tried updating the controller with headset attached or try hard resetting the Xbox

Connecting an Xbox One Stereo Headset

I have done all of the troubleshooting possibilities and my Xbox still will not find my headset. The headset is the Sades SA 708 GT and is compatible with the Xbox One based on others statements in the reviews. If anyone can help, please do because it sucks
to be without a working headset right now.

Hey XxfataldeathxX2 -

The Xbox One console uses optical audio port for sound. The stereo system you mention does not appear to be compatible with the Xbox One and at this time, there are no first party adapters that would allow you to connect your Xbox One. I would recommend
looking for something that allows for optical audio output for optimal use.

The Xbox One does not support USB headset, the console only supports wired connection to the controller via the 3.5 mm jack or with the Xbox One headset adapter. which connects to the bottom of the controller, or you can use a wireless headset which connects
straight to the Xbox One wireless connection. Your best bet would be to purchase the Xbox One headset adapter.

If you are talking about the Chat headset, that comes with Xbox One, then No. If you are talking about Stereo Headset, with an Stereo Headset Adapter. then Yes. Using the Stereo Headset Adapter give to both Chat and Game sound to the headset. If you TV,
is connected to the Xbox, your TV sound, will go to the headset.

When you say it connects directly to the controller, do you mean you are not using the stereo headset adaptor:
