Connecting Xbox One to another TV shows a blue screen on the TV

Hey there,

I am trying to connect my Xbox One to another TV but it does not seem to work. The TV shows a blue screen (guess no signal).

I know the TV is running in 1080i but my previous setting was 720p. I can't find where to change my settings on this television since the HDMI settings are ''automatic'' with no option to change.

I tried to hard reset my Xbox One with the power button, tried another cable and I pressed the disc out and power button and the same time for some time. I did not get any sound (I turned the sound off so maybe that's why). If I still had my old TV I could've
changed the settings, network streaming does also not work (other house). I can use my controller but I don't know where I am going.

I think this is all up to resolution settings, I don't know how to change them to 1080i with my controller without a screen. Seems like the TV is not accepting a lower resolution, a ps3 worked fine on this tv.

Maybe there is anyone who could tell me how to exactly change the resolution without a screen (maybe it's worth it)

Or maybe there is another way I could fix this?

I'm not home and it would be bad if I could not use my device for a few weeks, love the Xbox as my overall multimedia device.

HDMI Display Problems

Right, I've been tearing my hair out for 2 hours trying to figure this one out, first off I've got an old xbox 360 and a Technika 32-630 TV, both of which support HDMI cable and 1080p. Next, here's my issue

Been playing on a SCART connection for months now and finally got around to upgrading to HDMI, only to plug both in and get a blue screen saying "no signal".

• Tried swapping ports
• Tested my HDMI cable with another xbox and another tv - works fine. Therefore no problem with cable
  
• Tested my xbox with my hdmi cable and another tv - works fine
• Tested my xbox with another hdmi cable and another tv - works fine
• Tested my TV with my hdmi cable and my laptop - works fine
• Tested my TV with another hdmi cable and my laptop - works fine

All of this suggests to me there's no problem with either my xbox, the hdmi cable, or my TV.

I then plugged my xbox into another TV and went to display settings, set it to 480p and disabled auto-detect mode for display settings when connected to a new device. Thus my xbox is now set at 480p, just in case there was some problems in the auto-detection
on connecting with my TV.

I then plugged it back into my TV and a slight improvement - I'd gone from a blue screen with "no signal" to a completely black screen. I assumed this to mean there was some sort of signal getting through.

I then blindly went to display settings and hit A, this brought up
THIS SCREEN, through which I could navigate as usual, but in horrendoes blue/purple colour, the image only on half the screen and weird juddering shapes around the edge.

I can't for the life of me work out what's going on.

Any ideas?

 

HDMI Suddenly stopped working.

So...

I left both the TV and XBOX unplugged while I was at work today. Tried it again when I got home. I no longer have the TV's own blue screen with "not supported" displayed (by the tv)

I now; after some initial static have a green screen being displayed by the XBOX.

I've taken the XBOX to another room and it continues to function fine on another TV
