Connecting Xbox live on Xbox 360 password error

every time I try te connect to Xbox live on my Xbox 360 I get massage that my password is wrong. Even after changing it, message remains. online password works withouten problems

I'm getting the same problem, had no issues when I used it all morning, shut it off. went back on later that afternoon and had same exact problem since, I also changed my password but still get password error.

Can you please go to the
website for account protection and security, and check if you have Two Step Verification enabled?

If so, you need to scroll down a bit, to the "App Password" paragraph.

Create an app password, and use that app password on the Xbox 360, as the Xbox 360 console can't (yet) work with the Two Step Verification code requests.

 

Thanks! Microsoft helpdesk suggested to turn of Two Step Verification. That worked!
