Connecting with one specific friend

Ive been playing games with my dude,Andy, for many years now and just now am having issues connecting in a party and multiplayer games. I have no other issues playing games or connecting in a party with anyone else and its the same for him. Its just an issue
with him and I connecting. We have reset routers and modems, hard reset xbox, cleared mac addresses. Still nothing. I tried something just now to see if it would work. I previously tried joining his posse on rdr2 and it just keeps kicking us out and gives
an error message. To date, still haven't been able to get it to work. We have a mutual friend, and had him join a session and start a posse. Andy joined with no problems. I then attempted to join the mutual friends game. Kicked andy and I was in. Andy rejoined,
kicked me and he was in. Its frustrating when with everyone else there is no problems. Any help would be appreciated.

Nat types are open as well.

No sir, but i will say we did talk to someone from microsoft via phone conversation. He ended up calling his ISP. They manually reset his internet through them. He sent me a party invite and BOOM, connected with no lag. Tried again on red dead online,
BOOM! Connected with no issue. Our issue is fixed.

Thanks for reaching out to us here on the forums with this situation. I understand your having issues playing with a friend. I recommend you both try removing and recovering your profiles? You may also want to consider a restore to factory defaults I recommend
the "Keep My Games & Apps" option on both.
