    Connecting two Xbox 360s for storage?


    My boyfriend wants to connect his Xbox 360 white that has an external drive to my Xbox 360 S using an ethernet cable and use my Xbox to play destiny along with using his as a separate storage when playing on my xbox. His Xbox doesn't recognize discs anymore. My Xbox says I don't have an internal drive so it won't play destiny on mine. We are NOT looking to use it for system link. Just to be able to use the external drive to play destiny and for storage. I don't think it's possible, but my boyfriend refuses to ever believe a word I say.

    Sorry but all Drives (Flash or Hard Disk and regardless of if it's bigger then 16Gb) Connected via USB are limited to 16Gb of Storage Space. The Max you can use at anyone one time is two USB Connections at 16Gb each for a Total
    of 32Gb in Storage.

    This is what I've been through with my Xbox console experience...

    (1) Two defective DVD-Drives with the Original Xbox

    (2) Two defective DVD-Drives with the Xbox 360

    (4) Four RRODs with the Xbox 360

    At the moment, I have two Original Xbox consoles (in storage) and two Xbox 360s (one is in storage and one is currently being used). Electronics break, that is a fact of life.

    With that being said, I hope that you will be happy with whatever new console brand you go to :)

    It is very difficult to connect a Network attached storage to xbox 360.

    Aha. Well, the reason for that would be because the Xbox 360 only supports up to two USB drives at once.
