Connecting Two Xbones with Comcast/Xfinity Cisco DPC3939?

We have two Xbones. We have Xfinity/Comcast and are using the Cisco DPC3939. I want to get both Xbones to Open Nat so my daughter and I can play some Ark Survival Evolved together, each on our own Xbone. I'm decent at the research, but getting overwhelmed.
Also, I'm very inexperienced with network stuff, so feel free to over-simplify. I'm completely open to spending the money to get the best modem or router or whatever I need to make this as easy as possible. Any help is very appreciated. Thanks!

    :)

  2. Posible Moderate NAT not being detected?

Comcast/Xfinity is the ISP, the modemis a Ubee and the Router is a Cisco/Lynksis

    Xbox Live Error Code 8015-190E

There's a problem with users on Xfinity/Comcast service having issues connecting to Xbox Live. Comcast is aware of the issue and working to resolve it.

That router will be a pain and really wont support 2 xbox ones at the same time ....others will say to static ip one and forward the ports and dmz the other and you are free to try all that , BUT , if you want to just be done with it and play with your daughter
, get rid of the cisco altogether and get a MODEM only (either from Comcast or just buy your own) then , to go with the MODEM only (NO GATEWAY) and then get a Netgear router (mine is a $50.00 wrn2000 and does 2 Xboxes fine) .....run cable to both and never
    look back ....

Thanks! I think I'll go that route. Running cat lines is going to be really tough in our situation, but I'll see what I can do. I'd also like to get a router with the best range I can...an upgrade for us. Can you tell me what I need to look for in a router
to ensure it can run multiple consoles? Is there a particular feature or anything? Or do I just need to keep googling?

    Thanks!

  6. If you find a model you may want , simply call them and make sure it supports multiple consoles ....that's what I did on mine , its never had an issue with 2 Xboxes and the range seems good to me , and if you hardwire , that wont matter anyway....running
cable can take a little effort and a buddy to "fish" it to you , but WELL worth it imo....you may try and wire one and wireless the other...

WARNING!!! running cable often requires you to get into the attic or crawl space , VERY scary things can be found there sometimes....

getting disconnected from xbox live while playing multiplayer game

If the Technicolor TC8305C is the one causing this, it's because of a firmware update by Xfinity that caused many issues for people including me! So I recommend either requesting a Cisco DPC3939 (XB3) Gateway or a Arris TC862G from Comcast. I've heard that
the Arris gateways also have similar issues but it can be fixed with a firmware update!

Microsoft can't do anything about this since it's at Comcast's end and nobody is sure when this will be fixed.
