connecting to xbox live with wired connection on xbox one s

I currently purchased a xbox one s and when plugging it up to the wired connection it says it is connected to internet but no services available, but when I plug it into my old xbox one the connection works fine. Any ideas on what could be the problem?

Just want to give a update on my situation: I activated ipv6 on my router and my xbox one s was able to connect to my wifi. After a day or two I received the same problem again and got disconnected and signed out from xbox live randomly.

I decided to try a wired connection to my xbox one s and so far I'm having no problems connecting and I have both consoles on at the same time with open nats. My original xbox is on a wireless connection. I will continue to stay on a wired connection so
I can confirm it must be a wireless issue affecting only my new xbox one s.

Can't log in to xbox live.

Please run the Xbox Live Connection test on your Xbox to verify if your console can communicate with the Xbox Live services:

Could it be that you've configured explicit rules to be Port forwarding for your Xbox One (not s)? If so, you'll need to remove these configuration settings and follow the steps up front.

If you haven't already, power cycle your networking equipment, along with your Xbox One S.

Press and hold the physical power button on front of your console for 10 sec. Then power back your console.

Could you also provide the make an model of your networking equipment.

This is a wired connection using Cable modem that wire connect to wireless Router that wire connect to Xbox One S.

Just an S a couple days after christmas. Wire connection and it will not recognize wired connection after initial setup update. Switched back in the old xbox one and it works fine. old xbox even connects wirelessly with no problems. took my S over a family
members house and it connected no problem. I don't get it either.

connect to Xbox Live? Do you see any specific error message(s)?

Additionally, using a mobile hotspot is not an ideal method of connecting to Xbox Live. Are you able to use a wired connection from your router to your Xbox One console or connect to a wireless network?
