Connecting to Xbox Live on startup

Whenever I turn on my Xbox One, it signs me in and then on the home screen, it says that I am not connected to Xbox Live. So I go to Network Settings, and it says everything is fine. I can usually even go to my friends list and it loads no problem. This
occurs on the home screen for about a minute and then it will load everything like normal. This is not a major issue, as I am not having trouble actually connecting to Xbox Live, but I find it strange that the home screen thinks that I am not connected to
Live. This is more of a mild annoyance, and I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing anything similar, or if there is a fix.

G'day Kevin! If that's the case, then maybe a simple network reset will help this out.

• Unplug your modem, router, and console from power for a solid 2 minutes.
• Restart each one at a time, in that same order. (Plug in modem and restart, then router, then console).
  

If that's no good, let us know and we'll take a broader look at your network and console to see where this issue is coming from. =)

i went to the networking settings screen and the signal for my router was blank for a few seconds. after the 360s was done scanning for networks the connection showed up. so my xbox definitely isn't picking up the signals initially like it should

 

Can no one help me with this???

• Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds.
• Unplug the power from your Xbox One console and let it sit for 5 minutes.
• Plug in and power on the Xbox One console.
• Verify if the issue persists.

Alright, I powered down my Xbox and unplugged it for 5 minutes and then powered it back on. Everything on the home screen loaded as normal, so it seems to have worked for now. If it helps, my Xbox is on Energy-Saving mode, so perhaps that has something to
do with it. Either way, I will keep you updated if the problem persists, but so far, it seems to have worked.

 

So, when I turned on my Xbox today, it happened again, so that solution did not work. I will try setting my Xbox to Instant On, and see if it happens again.
