Connecting to Xbox Live breaks my internet/router?

So, I use a Dlink DIR-615 router, and I was happily using it with my Xbox. Until now for a couple of months. I can download something at a certainly good speed and it doesn't disconnect me. I go play some games and it randomly disconnects me from Xbox Live.
Actually, it breaks my internet. Internet doesn't work on the Xbox 360 neither on my computer until I restart my router. The internet works perfectly on my PC without any problems. Any ideas?

Got an Xbox One, dead upon arrival.

I wonder if mine is about to break sometimes it turns on and takes forever to connect to Live. I have to go to settings and it says no internet connection. I have to wait and then it will connect to my router. It is annoying.

Fixed by changing the wireless channel to 802.11g only.

My live is not connecting either, I tried resetting my modem/router, but that did not resolve. My xbox gets internet connection, just no Live connection..

I can connect to the internet with all my other deviceslike my laptop and phone thru my router but the xbox will not connect to xbox LIVE

I'm having the same issue. I was connecting fine with my modem and wireless router until yesterday. Now it picks up my network but can't connect to live. If I test my Xbox live connection....it connects to the network and Internet but not live. If I run
a static check it connects to the Internet. However if I do the Initial Setup....the Internet fails and says Blocked next to xbox live

i meant my xbox isnt working with my router... every time i test connection it says its connecting to router and than not to the internet, than it tells me to go to the xbox live connection help site...
