Connecting to xbox live and signing in

I am currently unable to sign in my profile or connect to xbox live in order to play games or access the game store etc. Anyone else having the same problem or know a fix for this?

Hey this worked for me. I was getting an error about not connecting to Xbox Live and something about signing in. All fixed up now.

 

Error Code: 80072EF3

i'm having problems connecting to xbox live upon signing in. i recieve the code 80072EF3 upon entering my gamer tag and password. any solutions?

 

Hi there TheMarkOfPower,

To try to resolve this issue, could you please perform a power cycle on your Xbox One console. To do this, please follow the instructions below:

1. Hold down the power button for around 10 seconds, until the console powers off.

2. Wait for 1 minute.

3. Unplug the power cable from the back of the console, and wait a further 1 minute.

4. Plug the cable back in and turn your console on.

5. You should be faced with the green Xbox screen with logo on it, shortly followed by your Xbox Dashboard.

6. Try signing in to your Xbox Live profile. It should now work.

Are you on the One? I just tried to sign in and the profiles on my Xbox don't even appear when I try.

To find out why your console has been banned, please head to
enforcement.xbox.com/.../ConsoleCheck.

Please enter the serial number of your console and it *should* tell you why it was banned.

If that does not work, please post in the following forum section:
forums.xbox.com/.../4276.aspx.
