    I have an XBox 360 Elite. Never a problem until today. System wouldn’t connect to XBox Live. Tested my wireless connection and the internet and XBox Live connections were fine. Still won’t connect to XBox Live and given error code:
    8007007A. Support and forum websites had steps to delete profile only, clear cache, and download profile. Did all steps, even shutting down my XBox, disconnecting the power cable, resetting my router, and now it won’t even let me download my profile!!! Given
    same error code: 8007007A “XBox Live profiles can’t be downloaded right now”. I called support and they took my info and complaint. I was told this is a “new” problem that just started last week. There is no fix for it yet and was told I’d be followed up with
    every couple days via email and was given a service request number. No telling when or even if this problem can be resolved. I’m annoyed and frustrated. Not to mention, I asked if I will be reimbursed for the cost of my gold membership seeing that I can’t
    even use it right now!! That matter is pending as well.

    Has anyone else run into this problem? What has support told you? If anyone knows how to resolve this, please let me know!

    Red Dead Redemption Error Message Help

    I popped in my copy of RDR and everything went fine, but when I got to the main menu it stated I had to download a profile in order to save.

    So I sign in, get the "hi Tony72495!" message, and it starts downloading my profile info.

    Then when it gets to about 75%, an error message pops up that says "Sorry, Xbox Live profiles cannot be downloaded right now. Try again later" and I'm kicked back to the start menu.

    I'm using the 2 disc GOTY edition of that makes any difference.

    Have you gotten an “Error 80154B7” or even an “Error 80070571” which are both related to your Xbox Live profile? please help!!!!!

    no..no....... only my profile not connects to live .......

    I can create a new profile or download another profile usually they connect the xboxlive .... more my profile not connect in xbox live

    I withdraw from my hd box ...

    and try to download it again for live

    and appears this error 801540b7 .......

    obs: not be possible to download it from live or update it

    I was in the house of a friend of mine and I tried to download my profile on xbox360 and it appeared the same error...

    Just after the error, when I hit OK on the error page, it says I'm logged into Xbox Live...but I don't have a downloaded profile! So I go to download it again, and it says it can't connect to Live and to test connection!

    Hey buofasa! Can you tell us what message or error you're seeing when you try to connect to Xbox LIVE? There are a few things you can try but it depends on that message!



    If you're seeing that you can't play LIVE because you're not gold, try re-downloading your profile by following the steps in our support doc on how to

    Download, move, or delete your Xbox LIVE profile    .



    Or, if you're seeing that you can't connect to Xbox LIVE because of a connection error, run through our Xbox LIVE Connection wizard -

    I get an error message when I try to connect to Xbox LIVE    ! Let us know what you find and if either step helps. :)

    Solution 2: Wait a few hours and try again

    If the Xbox Live service is temporarily down, wait a few hours and then try to download your profile again.

    To download your Xbox Live profile, see Download, move, or delete your Xbox Live profile.

    If you keep experiencing the problem, contact Xbox Support.
