Connecting to Xbox console for Cloud gaming.

Hi, I'm having issues setting up remote play for cloud gaming via the console.

I've followed the guides both for the console and mobile device and have had remote play working before without issue.

Neither my console or app needs updating and I have setup and and tested remote play via the console. the console is on a wired 5ghz internet and I'm trying to connect via 5g mobile network on an android device. I've had it working recently when away from the Xbox to play Destiny 2 that isn't on the gamepass but is installed on the console?

When attempting to connect to the Xbox I get an error saying "try again in a while, we can't connect to your console right now" I was told via the live chat that Remote play and Cloud gaming are 2 different services and I need to be on the same network but I'm led to believe I can connect to the Xbox and launch Destiny via the cloud to play remotely on a mobile network as I have done previously.

I have attempted some fixes such as restarting the phone, clearing caches, restarting app, hard resetting the console etc. The procedure works flawlessly when nearby the Xbox on the mobile network, just won't work from a distance anymore...

I can't connect to the Xbox to get as far as the dashboard, let alone launching a game, any help would be appreciated!

you can use the Xbox cloud gaming app to play games on the cloud, but there is no way to connect it to the console, wired or wireless

Helo ! To access games saved in the cloud, you must be connected to the Xbox network when starting a game. If you disconnect from the network during a game, you can continue to play, but if you are not connected when you exit the game, the saved game will not load in the cloud. You must connect to the Xbox network in order to use the saved game in another console. When you connect to the Xbox network, the saved game is loaded into the cloud.

Thanks for the reply. In order to keep if from happening in the future, make sure you are connected to the network.
Saved games are automatically stored in the cloud while you're connected to Xbox Live. You don't have to select cloud storage. If you sign in to a different Xbox One console, your saves are available from that console when you sign in with your Xbox profile.

If you disconnect from Xbox Live while playing a game, you can continue playing. If you're not connected to Xbox Live when you leave a game, your game save won’t be uploaded to the cloud. You must connect to Xbox Live before you can use
the game save on another console. When you connect to Xbox Live, your game save will be uploaded to the cloud.

also you can save your game saves to xbox cloud storage if you have xbox live gold.

Set up cloud storage for saved games

To use cloud storage for your saved games, you need:

xbox live gold

A console connected to Xbox LIVE

514 megabytes (MB) of storage space on your console (local cache)

Step 1: Turn on Cloud Saved Games (for a console)

From the Xbox Dashboard, go to Settings, and then select System.

Select Storage, and then select Cloud Saved Games.

Select Enable Cloud Saved Games.
