Connecting to XBL on college campus

I'm just setting up my xbox one on campus and at first when I powered on I noticed I couldn't connect to XBL, I figured out that I needed to register my MAC address with the school on a webpage called clearpass. I registered my wired MAC address to this
website (I use an ethernet cable to connect). I restarted my xbox and connected to xbox live! I was happy with my accomplishment but soon to have my hopes dashed. When Testing connection "It's all good" so I logged into my favorite game and tried to join a
session.

No response. Tried again. No games available. I go back to network settings and test my "Multiplayer connection" and receive the error "Can't get a teredo IP address". After search on search on search the only answer I came to was that I need to port forward.
I open up /ipconfig and copy my default gateway into my search bar. It comes back as "ERR_CONECTION_REFUSED". It appears my school has blocked its own IP configuration page. I can't port forward (to my knowledge) without this page. How to I get around this
error? I've seen many say "ask IT to open the port for you" but i'm not sure what port needs opening and almost positive even if I did they would not open it. I cannot connect to any sessions on any game in my library. This is stopping me from playing online.
I am connected to xbox live but cannot play games because of this issue.

My campus uses a gateway/modem combo to distribute wifi. I'm connected via a private IP on my laptop. When I troubleshoot this with microsoft the only answer I get is "You have to change ISP's if they can't provide an open IP". Well I cannot change ISP's
considering I'm on a campus. Is there any hope of me playing XBL?

Will Xbox One and the new dedicated servers vanquish NAT issues?

With the addition of all the new dedicated servers will there still be issues with people connecting to others because of their NAT status? It is a big issue when you're on a college campus and have no access to the WiFi information.

It's guide mentions an ethernet but you can try out the steps...and just substitute ethernet with wifi once you reach the dashboard options.

In such situation, without college IT guys, You can't fix this issue, only them can do such operations on their equipment. So short answer no, without them no hope.
