Connecting to party issues

As of last night I haven't been able to join my friends parties. Nothing to do with my internet or anything that's all fine and I can still access everything else on xbox live.

Ran both network connection tests and multiplayer connection tests both with working results.

Connection is wired, I have reset my router mulitple times unplugged etc you name it

I was given a problem error code of 0x8027025a but couldn't find anything on it myself, what I also found very weird was that to my friends it was saying that I was in the party, also on my screen in was saying my name in the party group but it was definitely
not connected. This isn't a case of where sometimes you join and just can't hear anyone so you reset and then everything works, this was different, and I know this because it said I was in multiple parties at the same time.

The issue is really frustrating for me because to be honest I don't like playing xbox unless I'm on mic with my friends, so it just means I'm missing out at the moment.

Problem with Halo: Reach

Hey again Warrior! I'm sorry to hear this is still ongoing. Just to recap, you are having issues connecting to the Halo: Reach servers only, or are you having issues connecting to or staying connected to LIVE? For example, if you are in a LIVE party, do
you stay in the party, but simply cannot connect to play Reach? Let us know, thanks!

 

April Update Available for everyone, but missing two features

If someone is having trouble connecting to a party for some random reason, the party chat will automatically switch over to a dedicated server so that everyone can connect without issue.

There's probably nothing up with your connection or your XBox.

Sometimes XBox ONE party chat doesn't work and it's annoying.

When that happens all you can really do is feel bad about it.

You can certainly raise it with Support.

But you'll just have to leave it for a while and try later.

Report it when it happens to support.

They might not be able to fix it or even honestly tell you what's happening but the information being logged will be vetted and investigated and over time should lead to a more reliable chat feature.

 

I get this problem quite often mate.

I get into the party (or start one) and I can hear my friends chatting but my green indicator doesn't 'pulse' when I talk.

Last time, updating my pad did the job.

 

It used to happen to me a lot when I had quick start on, i have changed to power save and no longer have an issue.

The only other way is to do a hard reset.

 

In the case of "Fear The Doctor" above... this isn't a Party Chat error like the OP is having.

You simply have to push the Menu button and select "Party Chat" because for some reason on rare occasions it puts you in a party but not in party chat.
