Connecting to Minecraft world issues

Similar issue here, except trying to connect AppleTV minecraft to Windows App version. Connecting AppleTV to world hosted on Windows results in Disconnected message. Hosting world on AppleTV, I can see the world listed, but when connecting to it, I just
go back to the worlds list.

AppleTV is running 1.1.5 - latest version I assume

Windows has 1.2.8.

Is it the mismatch in versions causing the issue?

It could be an issue with your internet connection. I was having problems once to get into a Minecraft world where it kept failing to connect. My wifi is fine, but I disconnected the wifi and did a hotspot from my phone with 4G internet. I connected my
Xbox to it and it loaded the world up instantly. Not sure if that's the issue with yours, but it's worth checking to make sure it has a good signal for the internet it's on.

Minecraft Forums as well to see if any of the Devs can assist with the issue. Otherwise another thing to try would be to see if you can roll back the Minecraft update.
