Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately, you will need to click the install to download any digital content for PC.

If you have a Windows 10 device, you can now use the Xbox app to connect to the Xbox Live service.

Does your PC run Windows 10? If so: Were you able to connect to Xbox Live on the Xbox App on your PC, and use non-web applications like party chat on your PC?

Well, I plugged into my router's lan ports 1 and 2, guess I could have used any of the 4, and after going through the set up schnurren referred me back to it worked very well! I thought it would set me up on my wifi again and that game play would be too
slow and unplayable... but, the pc and xbox did find each other and connect through my router! It didn't tell me anything, it just worked. Now, when I look at my connection it's wired.
