Connecting to games

Whenever I try to join or host an online game it always fails to connect, this has been happening since the core services went down a few days ago but it no longer says they are down and my friends are able to play with eachother and other people. I have
tried restarting my router, restarting my Xbox One, disconnecting the ethernet cable, disconnecting from the router entirely, and simply just testing the connection, however I still am unable to connect to players in most, unable to join parties, and my Xbox
One will not notify me of invitations despite me not being on do not disturb, they will still appear in my invitationes but do not work. What do I do?

Connecting to game & Connecting to ID

When trying to connecto to my games, I get this error message. I am connected to the internet. I should not be having these issues.

Another issue: It takes forever for the games to log onto my account of Purchase Starey. Since I am logged into my computer which uses my Live account ID, why is it taking so long to log onto my xbox gamer ID?

My Nat type is always strict and I have a private connection, if i enable upnp it will stay strict but say that I now have a double NAT, but this has never stopped me from hosting games before.

Thank you for contacting Forum support!

Please try to set the DNS to manual and see if that will fix the network/gaming issue.

This link here will show you how to get to these steps.
Network settings on Xbox One

Go to settings:

1.Network

2.Network settings

3.Advanced settings

4.DNS settings> manual

5. set Primary DNS to 1.1.1.1

6. set Secondary DNS to 1.0.0.1

7. Test all networks> then test your content/games/chats/etc.

Please le me know if that works.

HERE and let us know if it helps. Sometimes something as simple as reinstalling the game will fix an issue like this.
