Connecting to EA - Type in Username - Unable to Edit/Change to Connect

If someone has had this problem, found a resolution and is willing to share it, it would be greatly appreciated.

My son, anxious to play the game, entered a username that I just created for him on the EA site into the field when prompted within the game but made a typo.

The game will obviously not connect to the server.

The problem: I am unable to edit the information he entered and now he is unable to play multiplayer. I have uninstalled the Saved Game file locally as well as the one stored on the Cloud. No result. I have also completely uninstalled the game, restarted
the Xbox One and re-installed it. It still is not prompting me to re-input the information and gives me the same error when attempting to connect to EA servers.

We have had the Xbox One only a brief period of time so I am still learning how to navigate the file system (If even possible.The Xbox One is more obfuscated than the 360, It is not intuitive. The new Xbox One System update has made navigation even less
intuitive than it was before.) Does anyone have additional suggestions on how I might resolve this? I do plan on attempting additional navigation to find a file structure to delete which might be storing the data he input.

PvZ Garden Warfare Connection Issues.

Hello, everybody. I am having a pretty irritating issue with PvZ GW(as mentioned in the title). I am able to connect to the games menu, but whenever I try to join a multiplayer game I get "Unable to connect, please check your connection and try again." Typical EA... But the thing is, it has worked before. I am pretty irritated, because I am a huge fan of Scientist.

Unable to change nat type

i followed all the steps to change my nat type from strict to open, to faster find multiplayer games, but when i tested nat type and multiplayer connection, it said "Your network isn't set up." I have a wired connection and everything. How do i solve this?

 

I have been able to determine the problem. The issue is completely unresolvable unless EA changes the way they authenticate accessibility or XBPX allows you to edit an account Date of Birth. Basically, even though XBOX markets itself as a system that will
allow you to have complete control over the games and content your children can access. THIS IS COMPLETELY FALSE for EA Games. EA controls who can access their servers. This is determined by the Date of Birth on the XBOX Live Account. So, even though I've
created an EA account with a qualifying Date of Birth and have even edited my child's Date of Birth on his Microsoft account, none of that matters because 7 years ago, when i created my sons XBOX Live account, I made a typo and entered 2006 instead of 1996
as his DOB. $90 DOWN THE DRAIN, literally since the non-online content for this game is NON-EXISTENT and there is no way to access any multi-player content, nor ANY DLC content. And, although Disney and LucasArt are banking on parents purchasing this for the
holidays for their children, it is a HUGE Ripoff, even more so than is usual for EA. WARNING: DO NOT BUY FOR CHILDREN. THEY CANNOT PLAY.

 

Ahh... I know what some will say .... just create a new gamer tag for him. Except, that means I would now have to pay for a SECOND XBOX LIVE GOLD ACCOUNT. XBOX LIVE GOLD is also required to play the online EA content. With no campaign, only four maps included
in the game and no ability to access DLC, you might as well give your son a can to kick. Either way, after 2 hours, they will be bored to tears.

 

My son also cannot play this game, I dont have an issue with him playing even though he's 10 and under age as there is no content on there that he doesn't get from the news these days.

Its infuriating and like you said there are going to be a lot of disappointed kids on Christmas day trying to play this. at the moment he's using his mothers account, but why should he have to, I'm his parent and more than happy to authorise this game one
of the biggest releases of the year.

He does not want to create a new gamer ID as he will lose his achievements.

I think I just need to reset the details linking his Xbox Gamer ID to his EA account but cannot find out how.

Can anyone help???

Is there a parental setting to change it? I suppose since being a minor cant play or had to lie about age when creating the gamer tag. But that's against the TOS rules.

 

I'm a parent and grandparent and when I try to go on line with any of its function it says "You are not allowed to

access online features" I've reinstalled the game and my profile. still I can't play. Above I see you talk about an EA account? On Xbox One with an Xbox live account, I need a separate EA account to play this game? If so, why didn't I see anything about
it in the setup of the game?
