Connecting to chat On Xbox Game bar

Discus and support Connecting to chat On Xbox Game bar in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; I haven't been able to connect to others and even my own parties resulting in an error every time how can i fix ths?     I haven't been able to connect to others and even my own parties resulting in an error every time how can i fix ths? Anyone else have this problem?

    friends list not working on xbox one console

    I'm having the same issue. Unable to connect to party chat using Xbox Game Bar and Xbox Companion. It started between 8pm and 830pm EST.

    Hi,

    You can create and join parties on Windows 10 just like on Xbox. You can do this using the

    Windows 10 Game Bar    . The people you are playing with can still chat to you using Game Bar even if they are on an Xbox One console.

    Something to note:

    If your controller is connected to your PC via Bluetooth you'll need to connect a microphone to your mic port on your PC. Chat via a microphone on an Xbox One controller is only available via USB or an Xbox One Gaming Receiver.

    Xbox Live Party Chat (Game Bar) Windows 10 Pro Not connecting!

    Game Bar chat has not been working for me at all since this past weekend. Thought it might be that i had’t installed the latest windows update, bit that hasnt reaolved it either.

    oh and i was able to connect with some using the ios xbox app, so it is a Game Bar issue for sure.
    Soon as I say that it finally connected lol

    Xbox Console Companion (PC) - Not able to join or create parties, and my headset and microphone aren't showing up either.

    It's best to use the Game Bar now on Windows 10 to chat to your friends on consoles or PC.

    If you have an Xbox controller connected to your PC, pressing the Xbox Button will also activate the Game Bar.
