    Connecting to apps?


    Is anybody having trouble connecting to apps? Such as NFL or Netflix? Just went through troubleshooting with Microsoft chat and after everything they said they was updating there servers if I still having trouble after 24 hours I'm to call support
    to send in my Xbox One for service. Did a network test and I'm getting 20mb download with a open network.

    Thank you for your input.

    When trying to connecto to my games, I get this error message. I am connected to the internet. I should not be having these issues.

    Another issue: It takes forever for the games to log onto my account of Purchase Starey. Since I am logged into my computer which uses my Live account ID, why is it taking so long to log onto my xbox gamer ID?

    Connecting to Router

    The original question as I had to switch browsers since IExplore put out a blank question -_-:

    I have a new xbox with internal wireless, and a Cisco WAG120N router. They were working fine together.

    However now I get a wonderfully generic "there was a problem with your connection."

    I have tried all the common remedies, restoring factory, resetting bits and bobs etc.

    However strangely what did work was changing the wireless security. If I disable it or set it to WPA, the Xbox connects immediately. It was previously set to the standard WPA2, however this is not ideal obviously I would prefer to leave it at WPA2. However
    whenever I try to set the router back to this the Xbox refuses to connect again.

    Weird as WPA2 is supported, and it was working fine previously and no settings were changed when it suddenly stopped.

    Anyone know what is going on here?

    If you are on the xbox app the easiest way to have your console connected with the app is to make sure your app and the xbox is connected to the same wireless network.

    Make sure you have the Ubisoft connect app installed, and make sure your Xbox account is linked to your Ubisoft account, then start the Ubisoft connect app, and log in with your Ubisoft account. Close the Ubisoft connect app, and start the Xbox app, then find the Ubisoft game you want to install, and select install on it, it should hopefully launch the Ubisoft connect app and start installing the game.

    Thanks for your post! Check out this article on fixes for:
    Xbox     App Server Connectivity on Windows 10 is blocked. If you're attempting to use the Xbox App's ability
    to connect to a console, be sure to allow connectivity on the Xbox One. To ensure your console's configured to connect to the Xbox app visit
    Settings>Preferences>Xbox App connectivity there you may select whether the console can be connected to any device, devices with profiles signed in on the Xbox, and blocking connections overall.

    Just tried that and my connection is all good. Opened app again and getting the connection error. This has to be related to the app, surely?
