I'm connecting t a wireless server at a hotel that requires you to connect, at which time you receive "limited" access. In order to achieve internet access you must go to their website and click accept to start browsing. How would I go about doing this on
and Xbox 360 since I can't get t their website without accessing Xbox Live to get to Internet Explorer?

    :)

Can't connect xbox to college campus/// any advice

    Hello!

Most likely they use wireless that connects without a password, but requires that you log into a website on the device prior to using the internet. If that's the case, you wouldn't be able to use their wifi on your Xbox.

    Connecting to wireless internet ISP

I use a local ISP that uses cellular towers to broadcast. It's beeter than satellite and my best option. Currently per instructions from my ISP I have an xbox one in the basement that is connected via wire to a switch using a static ip. Everything else in
the house connects via a d link router.

That is the only way that the xbox would connect to xbox live. Now for my issue. I just got an xbox one x and my 4 k tv is upstairs. I don't have the ability to connect in the same manner as the other xbox. I can connect to the internet without issues and
it shows a moderate NAT even though Nat test says I'm not connected to the internet.

ISP says I may be able to set up my router as an access point and connect that way. Anyone run into this issue and have had luck setting it up?

Oddly xbox one x also looses connection to the network a lot as well. Connecting to a wireless server that requires you to go to their website to activate the ... :(

    Thanks

There's not really any bypass. The only thing you can really do is speak to someone at the Hotel's I.T. dept and give them the MAC address of the Xbox and possibly they may be able to set it to access the internet for you.

I'm also trying to figure this one out. I've sent messages and used the chat feature, but MS is yet to give any helpful suggestions.

@L25H00t - If it's possible, you can either choose to share your computers Internet connection with your console, or use the physical address (MAC) of the authenticaded computer, as your console's alternative MAC address (MAC spoofing)

I thought we didn't need an internet connection to play

Frankie, you can disconnect from your wireless by going to Settings > Network. They should make it so you can log in and not be connected to live... I dunno.... like they did with Xbox 360.

Also sucks because some games (2K14) require you to connect to 2k servers to play MyCareer or MyTeam.

Another note, Xbox does not require you to be connected in order to play. That would be the game.

    Regardless, this is all f*ckery
