connecting to a projector

I just got my Xbox 1 and would like to connect it to an Epson emp81 projector. It does not have an hdmi port and have tried a hdmi to vga cable nut no luck. I then tried a converter again no luck. Not sure what to do next. here is a link the back of the
projector. I hope someone can help.

They sell HDMI to VGA adapters online. I would post but I don't want to advertise. Head to Google and search "HDMI to VGA adapter".

I was hoping someone could help me out here, i want to connect my xbox slim to my projector, i would like to use the hdmi slot on the xbox but my projector has on got a spare vga slot, can i buy a cable that will allow me to do this?? the projector
is the Epson EB-S92

I didn't look at your link but if you can connect a PC to the projector... stream your One through the Xbox App maybe?

 

sounds like an idea but I think it would take over the streaming in the house! LOL

 

It's all I could really think of. I don't really know all the options for hdmi cable conversions... if I even said that right. lol

 

Have you checked the description of the converter to see if it's compatible with the projector as some will stipulate they don't work with certain devices like laptops, projectors and some video cards on PC etc.

Really though, if you're using a converter I would suggest looking into a new projector as I used a converter for my PC to TV and while the picture quality was bearable for watching TV shows, I could never game on it knowing what I was missing out on, haha.
