connecting the xbox to a PC screen

Before connecting the console to your PC screen, you should set the Xbox 360 settings to output HDMI. You need to connect the 360 by composite cable on a normal screen, then set the output to HDMI. After this you can connect the console to your PC screen
and turn it on

I believe there is an easier way to accomplish this, but I'm not 100% certain.

First, the Xbox One was not meant for multiple screens. HOWEVER a PC is.

So, theoretically, you could connect your xbox to your PC, then connect your PC to your TVs monitors.

I would recommend the El Gato HD60S ($160) for low latency connection to your PC (instead of wireless Windows 10 xbox app)

Then for connecting your PC to your TVs/Screens may require adapters depending on your PC.

Then you would detect and configure (set to extend) your displays through screen resolution in the PC control panel,

and run your xbox through your PC via El Gato passthrough.

In short, your desired setup, though impractical, is not impossible.

Please note: I have not tried this because I don't have multiple screens, but doing this SHOULD work.

I have my xbox connected to a pc monitor as well and I had to take a look intitially at which port as it has more than one hdmi input. Once I went to the settings on the monitor and switched from hdmi 1 to hdmi 2 it was fine.

Make sure you PC is looking at the right input. There is usually a key on the laptop that will switch what input it is looking for. Also, that has to be an HDMI input port.

You need an hdmi and connect the two in order to get visuals of the xbox on the tv
