Connecting the Xbox ONE to the PC via cable

I've used the xbox app on my PC and so far it's been working great, but i noticed that it uses an ungodly amount of bandwidth, and i sometimes would like to stream the games im playing on my xbox, through my pc (due to the more vast customization options)

My question is, is there a way to connect the xbox to my PC directly (via cable, mainly) in order to minimize the bandwidth impact?

Its also pretty ridiculous considering my xbox is 1ft away from my computer and its consuming all this bandwidth but hey...

    Thanks in advance!

    :)

Turn on Xbox One S controller without turning on console?

    Hey there Black Fire 44.

Do you have your wireless controller connected via USB to your PC or do you have an adapter? If you haven't already, try connecting to your PC with a USB cable, that should help avoid turning on your Xbox One with it.

  3. Can not connect to xbox one using xbox app on windows 10 with a wired connection.

I want to stream my xbox one to my windows 10 pc using the xbox app. I'm using a bridged connection, connecting my pc to my xbox one with an ethernet cable and connecting my pc to the internet using wifi. The first few times it worked perfectly, however
all of the sudden when trying to connect my xbox one to my pc I get the message: "Unable to connect to your xbox one. Make sure that your console is connected to the same network as this pc". How can this be if my console and pc are connected with an ethernet
cable? My ethernet cable works fine and is plugged in correctly in my pc and xbox...

XBox controller disconnects from PC or stops responding

Hi Keith, There are two ways to connect an Xbox controller to a PC: with a USB cable or via Bluetooth.

    Connect with a USB cable

Plug one end of the USB cable into the USB port on your PC.

Plug the other end of the USB cable into the USB port on your Xbox controller.

The controller should automatically connect to your PC.

    Connect via Bluetooth

Make sure your Xbox controller and PC have Bluetooth.
    Activate Bluetooth on your PC.

Press and hold the pairing button on the Xbox controller for 3 seconds.

The controller should appear in the list of Bluetooth devices on your PC.

Select the Xbox controller from the list and click "Connect."

Let me know if the information is still useful.

    Sincerely,
    Marvina.

How to set up a router to play on Live wirelessly?

You should connect your modem directly to your new router. Then your PC is connected to the router with an Ethernet cable. Your Xbox will connect to your new router via wireless.

Just take the Ethernet cable that goes from your modem to your PC and plug it into the back of the router, into the "Internet" port; not one of the four LAN ports. You will need an additional Ethernet cable to reach from one of the four LAN ports on the
back of the router to your PC.

Once your PC is connected to the router, you will need to use it to configure the wireless settings on your router. Once those are enabled and setup with a password, you can connect your Xbox via wireless

Help Setting up TP Link WA500G

Hi, the set-up for an xbox is no different that to using a PC or Apple Mac etc etc, just follow the instruction guide and connect a PC to the TP Link, once the PC can connect to the Internet via the TP Link via an Ethernet cable simply replace the PC with
    the Xbox.

Adaptateur sans fil Xbox pour Windows 10

No, not necessarily. The Xbox One Wireless adapter has extra functionality, but for basic wireless use you can connect via Bluetooth. If your PC doesn't have Bluetooth a BT dongle can be purchased for less than $10/€7.

Note that the Xbox One controllers can also be connected via USB cable. The Xbox One uses a Micro USB cable, Series X controllers are USB C.
