Connecting series x, LG CX, and Vizio 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos

Hi,

I'm not sure how to go about hooking up the above 3 without sacrificing one of their features. If I hook up my series x to sounder and sounder to my LG CX, will I lose some of the features because my soundbar doesn't have HDMI 2.1? My tv and soundbar support
Dolby Atmos. The only thing is that my soundbar doesn't have 2.1. So if I pass the xbox through soundbar to tv, not sure if I will lose some of the features (VRR, 4k 120FPs, etc)?

Thanks Dan. That will not cause any voice lag?

What features? The video feed is going straight into the TV. It is just the audio going to the soundbar from the TV.

4K at 120hz

If the sound bar uses HDMI 2.0, the TV will only be limited to 4K 60hz,

The CX can definitely pass through Dolby Atmos.

The LG CX has eARC (HDMI port 2) so I would use this to the soundbar for audio. Connect the Xbox directly to the TV. That way you should get all the features working as normal.

It might do, but eARC should be a pass through thing, with no processing of the sound once it leaves the Xbox until it reaches its final destination (the soundbar) - that's my understanding anyway.

Also it's the only way you'll get the 4k 120fps with VRR and still get the Dolby Atmos through your soundbar. So if there's any voice lag you'll have to live with it (unless something can adjust for it). If you are watching Blu Rays then just connect directly
to the soundbar - you'll not need any of the HDMI 2.1 features for that.
