Connecting Playstation TV to Xbox One HDMI Output? will it work?

Hi,

A quick question.... most of you are going to hate me for it, if I can connect my playstation tv to my xbox one console like the I do with my Xbox One and SKY?

Can someone let me know if this is possible?

Unable to connect system to LG TV

LG's HDMI support is notoriously unstable, not sure if it is the way they handshake or whether their software is poor but it is a long standing complaint you can find in many places on the internet.

Xbox 360 had issues with LG TV's as well (do a web search for xbox one lg tv hdmi and you'll get pages of results including PlayStation issues connecting to LG TV's so not limited to Microsoft).

Things to try:

On your TV that it works with, set your Xbox One to a lower resolution i.e. 720p then plug it in to the LG TV and see if it works.

Check for a TV firmware update

Reset TV to factory default settings

Try other HDMI cables

Try a HDMI to AV converter for your sister's TV and use AV cables with your Xbox One when using that TV.

 

Can I Direct Connect XboxOne to TV?

That's how you connect an xbox to a tv... am i missing something, how do you normally connect your xbox to the tv?

Make sure your hdmi cable is connected to the OUT port on the xbox one (next to power) and to an IN port on your tv's HDMI port.

Easy peasy.

 

You can connect anything that uses HDMI to the HDMI in on the Xbox One, even a PS4 if you wanted. So yeah, A PS TV would work fine.

 

But I have connected it and it says Your TV Signal was lost? am I doing something wrong?

 

You connect the Xbox to your tv and the ps TV into the Xbox

 

I wouldn't... what if the come alive and start fighting.. then you are out two consoles.

Only messing with you. Like someone said already you can connect anything that has HDMI.

 

Thats what I did I connect the xbox one to my tv as normal and then put the PS TV to the HDMI In but it says your TV single was lost

 

Is the ps TV on? Might not detect it if it's off

 

the ps tv is on. The controller ps controller connects to it. I think my HDMI output Port is not working.... I tried adding my sky hd box and it said the same thing.

 

Might be a faulty HDMI cable though. Did you try using a different HDMI cable for the PS TV?
