Connecting Facebook account.

hi there. I previously connected a Facebook account to a xbox gamertag that I cannot access anymore, but when I try to connect it to the new gamertag it tells me that my Facebook account is linked to another xbox account. Like I mentioned earlier, I do not
have access to that account anymore, and I don't seem to find the access on Xbox via the Facebook website. What can I do to still find my friends and connect my account? Thank you in advance.

Lost account and inability to unlink

in short old xbox live account lost, still want same Facebook on new account, can't access old xbox account to unlink, and Facebook doesn't show my Facebook as connected but when I try connecting Facebook to new account it says it's logged in to the old
account.

Try to escalate your issue to a supports and pass it to the system engineers provide they can actually do that and look to your unique issue.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We will need to recover the Microsoft account that has the social media account tied to it. We recommend utilizing an article entitled

Find Your Microsoft Account Email Address to help recover the account. The
Xbox Support Team is also able to assist with recovering an account. Once the account is recovered, we can add the account to the console and unlink the Facebook account. Are you attempting to unlink the account through an Xbox One? Be sure to let us know
the results!

In line with your query, Microsoft stopped supporting Facebook integration with Xbox due to changes in Facebook’s latest API. Therefore, Microsoft will no longer support Facebook Connect, a service that integrates some Facebook content with a Microsoft account.
