    Connecting Controller to Xbox One Problems


    I'm having problems connecting my wireless controller to my Xbox One. I read all the posts and support links concerning this issue and changed the batteries, unplugged the console, even tried connecting the controller using a USB-to-micro-USB cable directly
    into the console, but no connection. I even bought a new controller but having the same issues. I get the blinking light and it turns solid. I can turn on the consult with the controller, but that's it, nothing else. I'm at the menu but cannot navigate,
    none of the controls work. I plugged in the controller using a USB cable and tried both having the console sync using that method, and just plain tried using the controller as a plugged in wired controller, but again, nothing, other than the controller vibrating
    for a second when I plug it in. I'm unable to navigate the menu. This is getting frustrating. Does anyone have any suggestions? I can't even try resetting the console to the factory settings (I don't have a Microsoft PC).

    Xbox One Controller will no longer work with Xbox One

    I downloaded the Xbox One controller PC Drivers, and now my Xbox One controller will not work with my Xbox One. I've tried the connecting it again with the connect button on the controller as well as connecting the USB to Micro-USB cable to the Xbox.

    Hi there,

    Sorry to hear you are having this problem.

    Have you tried connecting the controller with a USB cable?

    If you have a micro-USB cable or the Xbox One Play & Charge Kit, you can connect your controller by using the micro-USB cable and do without batteries.

    Restarting your console and controller might correct the connection issue.

    Yes, all Xbox One controllers work with all of the Xbox One consoles (Xbox One, Xbox One S, Xbox One All Digital Edition, Xbox One X)

    Sorry to hear you are having issues with an accessory for the adaptive controller. Here are a few things to try:

    Connect a different device

    To confirm that the problem is with the external device and not the controller, connect a different device to your controller if one is available. If the button is responsive when you connect your device to
    the various ports on the controller, the problem may be with the original external device, not the controller.

    If the button is still unresponsive after connecting a different (working and compatible) external device to the controller, the controller may need to be replaced.
