Connecting Android phone to Xbox One 2013 version

So I've got an Xbox One mine came out in December 18th of 2013 and I seem to have seen a lot of YouTube videos for how to hook up the app for the Xbox One s and x, but none for the Xbox one that came out in 2013 I can't seem to hook up my phone Microsoft app to the Xbox console can anyone help it'd be greatly appreciated thanks

The newer version of the Xbox One controller will work with an IOS or Android phone, as they have built in Bluetooth which is required to be able to connect the controller to the phone.

To know if your controller is the newer version, it will have a 3.5mm jack in the front to be used for headsets aswell as the area around the Logo will be lower than the reat of the controller.

What Android version are you using on this Moto G6?

Do you have another Android phone with one of the latest Android OS releases?
Just to see if it’s just a bug that may appear with older versions of Android

This is a very common problem. Depending on your phone/tablet version will determine whether you can connect your controller. For example, android users must make sure their phone version is 6.0 or higher with a Bluetooth version of 4.0. While I
am unsure of the ios requirements, I hope this helped.

That is definitely not the issue as both devices are on android 10 and bluetooth 4 and the controller works fine with both the phone and tablet with all other apps the issue is specifically while using the xbox streaming app.
