connecting an xbox s to the internet by ethernet

I just purchased a xbox s and have a smart tv which is connected by ethernet to the internet because the wifi is weak where it is located. I only have one ethernet connection in this location. is there a way to connect the xbox to the internet thought the smart tv's internet connection instead of by the weak wifi signal? Can I run the internet from the xbox to the TV?

Just buy a 4 port network hub, recommend gigabit for future proofing for a few more dollars. Cost you about $15-20. Plug current plug into the outgoing port and other devices into the other ones. Fire and forget, problem solved

check your internet download speed and if its below 2 MB/s then that's probably the reason if not then are you connecting by Ethernet or wifi if you are connecting by Ethernet and have a download speed above 2mb/s im unsure but if you have a download speed
of above 2mb/s and connecting using wifi you may be too far away

"some internet issues" is pretty vague but try restarting your Xbox series s and if that doesn't work forget your Wi-Fi network then re-connect to it? lastly maybe try an ethernet cable?
