    Connecting an Xbox One X to a TV via keystone connectors

    I have a One X and a Sony x900F. I have hdmi, coax and Cat6 cables running behind a wall and plates with keystone connectors on both ends. From the Xbox to the first connector is the factory cable. The keystone connectors are both the same and say;

    Supports all HDMI 2.0b functions including High Dynamic Range (HDR) video, 18Gbps transfer speed, 4K, UHD, 3D, 48-Bit Deep Color and Audio Return Channel (ARC).

    The cable behind the wall is 10 ft and the cable at the TV end is 3 ft, both with the description;

    This double-shielded premium cable provides TRUE Hi-def performance. It equippes latest 18Gps UltraHD/4K, 2.0 version, featuring Ethernet, 3D, 4k Colour upto 60fps, and Dolby Atmos Audio.

    If I put it all together, I get nothing but black screen (I initially thought the keystone connector was broken), but if I plug the behind the wall cable into the Xbox; no problem 4k @ 60 fps, hdr etc.
    So one keystone and 2 cables is ok, but 2 keystones and 3 cables breaks it.

    Am I experiencing some maximum signal loss issue that pushes it over some limit and is there anything that can be done about it?

    Worst case is that I remove the keystone plate from behind the TV, since you can't see it there anyway, but it wouldn't be as pretty.

    Thanks!

    :)

    I could try a low res setting and see if it is happier. Obviously, that isn't a long term solution. As noted, it works plugging the wall cable directly into the Xbox (4 connections), so I think I will plug the cable directly into the TV and use a keystone
    at the Xbox end and hopefully that works. I am surprised that the xbox is so sensitive to multiple connections, given all the cables and connectors are hdmi 2 4k high speed rated and the signal is digital (albeit high bps).

    Btw; ARC coming back from the TV to a Denon is fine through 2 keystones and 3 cables. I tried the same 3 ft hdmi cable to the Xbox and it didn't work either.
