    Connecting an Xbox One Stereo Headset


    I have done all of the troubleshooting possibilities and my Xbox still will not find my headset. The headset is the Sades SA 708 GT and is compatible with the Xbox One based on others statements in the reviews. If anyone can help, please do because it sucks
    to be without a working headset right now.

    Hi!

    Try checking if there is an
    update     available for the controller and try again connecting the headset.

    Connecting an Xbox One Stereo Headset

    We are having the same issue with our Afterglow AG9 for Xbox One. It was working fine for weeks, now all of a sudden our Xbox wont register our headset. Everything is glowing and working fine as far as the headset goes however it wont assign to an account
    or even show up in the accessories settings.

    Have you tried updating the controller with headset attached or try hard resetting the Xbox

    If you are talking about the Chat headset, that comes with Xbox One, then No. If you are talking about Stereo Headset, with an Stereo Headset Adapter. then Yes. Using the Stereo Headset Adapter give to both Chat and Game sound to the headset. If you TV,
    is connected to the Xbox, your TV sound, will go to the headset.

    The Xbox One does not support USB headset, the console only supports wired connection to the controller via the 3.5 mm jack or with the Xbox One headset adapter. which connects to the bottom of the controller, or you can use a wireless headset which connects
    straight to the Xbox One wireless connection. Your best bet would be to purchase the Xbox One headset adapter.

    Hi Zathrus,

    We have two of the
    Xbox Stereo Headset     with Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter, and both sets have worked well with no problems for sometime now. And I have used the
    adapter with non-Microsoft headset with no issues. So, given that you say your "3.5 mm cabled headset " works directly connected to the controller, then I regret to say it would seem that the fault lies with the adapter itself and may need to be replace.
