Connecting an Original X-Box to a SUHD TV

How do I go about connecting an original X-Box ( Pre-360) to a new SUHD TV? I used to have it connected to my old TV via the RGB cable and my new TV does not have anything but HDMI connections. I want to have something for my Grandson to play when he comes
over our house

XBox 4K TV details screen - only TV resolution is green check box

XBox 4K TV details screen - only TV resolution is green check box. Using HDMI that came with XBox One S.

Using with new Samsung 65K850D, SUHD TV.

TV did auto detect XBox on setup. XBox One S was bought first then TV last week. XBox resolution is set to auto detect, always has been.

It is possible to get phono to HDMI adapters but I have never tried using them so I don't know how well they work.

You will want to look for composite (or RCA) to HDMI converters, assuming your original Xbox A/V connection ends in the yellow/red/white connectors.

They often look like little boxes with RCA-inputs on one side, an HDMI output on the other side, and is likely powered via USB.

Amazon might be a good place to start. Since we're venturing into third-party territory, I can only recommend that you read the
customer reviews. Quite a few of them happen to be trying to get their older generation consoles to work on their TVs with no RCA-inputs as well.

How do I connect a TV without HD connectors to an X-Box One?

I have the same issue. HDMI from x box one to TV monitor LG No sound. And in the settings for audio it will not let me select hdmi audio, optical audio only. I have an optical cable connected to x boxing and tv optical in And still no sound.

Thank you for coming to the Xbox forums for assistance, I'd be happy to help.

The HDMI IN port on the Xbox One console is used to connect your cable or satellite TV box in order to view your TV channels directly from an app on the Xbox One console. It really isn't used for anything else besides that, so if you want to set up your
cable provider box that is where you would plug in the HDMI cable for the TV box.
