connecting a 2nd xbox to my live account

Hello! To be able to have xbox live in the two consoles you can put your account as home xbox in one of the consoles, while in the other you must have the session started all the time.

Designate an Xbox One console as your home Xbox

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2. Select System > Settings > Personalization, and then select My home Xbox.
3. Select Make this my home Xbox to designate the console as your home Xbox

set one as the home Xbox. anybody could play online on that console

the other Xbox would need a profile with Live to sign in to play online

Sorry for the confusion.

The thing is that you can only share your Xbox Live Gold on one console at a time. If you had that set up with your first console anyone who wants to play online on that one will be able to. However, if you switch that to your new console, everyone will
be able to use that but only your account will be able to play online on your first console.

Basically, if you want to have them play with their gamertags online, they are only able to do that on one console unless you get one of them their own subscription. Then you can set both console's as someone's Home Xbox and everyone in the house will be
able to play online.

As mentioned you still need a separate subscription and another copy of the game to share on 2 consoles simultaneously. Even family accounts require this. Family accounts are more about monitoring online safety and settings content restrictions or time
limits.

You will need to set one as your Home Xbox after logging in.
