Connectify (virtual router) and xbox one not working

Hey,

First of all, sorry for my poor english.

So, i'm having trouble connecting to XBL through connectify : My entering connection is made to my PC via ethernet, and I need to share the connection through WiFi to my xbox. I've been doing so for the last year and it worked great. However, i had to change
my PC, and now it's not working. The access point created via connectify is working (I've tried it with another console and a laptop, no problems for those), but the xbox cannot seem to get an IP adress from it (when i select "automatic" mode for DHCP, it
gives me an IP adress starting with 169.xxx.x.x which is apparently synonym of the DHCP server failing to give an IP (not sure, it's what i found online), however i can connect to the access point and see which type of NAT I get, I just can't get online. Frustrating.

I've tried giving a Manual IP too, without success.

If anyone is able to help me, i'd be greatful !

Cannot connect xbox to wifi hotspot on PC

Hi, I only have a wired internet connection and one Ethernet port to connect to the internet, so I use my laptop as a wifi hotspot through programs like connectify/virtual router to connect to the internet with my phone and other devices.

For some reason when I try to connect to this with my Xbox One, it says 'cannot connect to DHCP server' or something along the lines of that.

How can I solve this problem??

Hi,

You have a lot of things configured that are all trying to do the same thing which will certainly cause issues

You only need UPnP enabled or Port triggering

Your Virtual servers are set-up incorrectly as that private ip address is the router ip address, but it doesn't matter as you cannot virtual server two Xboxes anyway.

I would turn off the virtual server and port triggering and just leave UPnP enabled, reboot and see how that goes, however not many routers allow multiple Xboxes to truly work together (see

Is only one way to solve this problem. Use a wired conection with cable RJ45. In the connectify-me use a wired router option.

Xbox one required a frequency that connectify-me no have.

In my xbox one have same problem and solve with this solution.
