Connected to Xbox Live- Games say I am NOT connected to Xbox Live

i have gone through every support I can think of and nothing helps. I have checked my online test and multiplayer test and everything checks out fine and my Xbox One says I am good to go. I can connect to netflix and YouTube and everything else you need
an Xbox Gold account to do. However I can not connect to multiplayer games and can not connect to watch Halo Nightfall. It says I am not connected to Xbox live and will not be able to access this feature. Anyone else having this issue? Any fixes?

So I bought Gears of War Ultimate Edition over the weekend and logged on today.

Came here to ask this questions, I got Gears Ultimate today. It says play on Xbox Live! before January 1st and receive all the 360 games. I am hoping when they say play on Xbox Live! they don't mean the multiplayer. As I am not a multiplayer fan.

Yes having same issues with battlefield4 multiplayer, there was an update today on mine for the new dlc, but it's *** annoying

Sorry to hear about the connection issue! Which games are you experiencing this issue with? I would start by

removing your profile from the Xbox One console and then redownloading your profile back on. Before you redownload your Xbox Live profile, follow these steps below to power cycle your Xbox One console:

• Remove your Xbox Live profile from the Xbox One.
  
• Press and hold the power button on the Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
  
• Once the unit is powered off, unplug the power cable from the Xbox One and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  
• Plug the power back into the unit and power the console on.
• Sign your Xbox Live profile back into the Xbox One.

Post back with which games you're having issues with try the steps above. Post back and let us know how it goes!

 

Currently I can not use any multiplayer on any Xbox one game. I have a recurring payment for Xbox gold, I have tried the above steps and nothing worked. Any other ideas?

Hi. I have been having the same problem. My xbox one claims that everything is good, but I have not been able to play Destiny, Halo, or Dragon Age Inquisition online or access any online features such as Dragon Age's Dragon Keep. I also was unable to download
Child of Light from the xbox store.

I have taken my xbox to friends' houses to see if their wireless connections were better, but there was no change. I can download game updates and use internet explorer, but no online features of my games work. This has been very frustrating, and I wish
I hadn't gone out and paid launch day prices for games that I can't properly access. I tried the steps above suggested by Mr. Beep, and they didn't help.

I'm not a network admin, and frankly I don't have time to spend weeks troubleshooting a system that I paid hundreds of dollars for.

I found a thread with the answer. Unplug your Xbox One! Plug it back in the completely restart it. It worked for me.

 

Your not the only one to experience this.

There are many threads reporting the same problem.

It would seem there is no guaranteed fix.

All you can try is deleting your user account, a hard reset, then re-adding your account.

If this does not work (didn't for me) you need to contact Support.

 

Ok.. My Xbox one is saying I am connected to wifi and everything and I go to sign into a New Xbox live account and it says I am Not connected.. When I check it, it says everything is connected and working. But it isn't. It Will not let me use internet at
all. Help me!!
