    Connected to xbox live but no multiplayer


    Bought an xbox s this week just to play halo. Downloaded the Master Cheif collection via ultimate pass and things were fine. The next day while I was connected to xbox live, the game told me I was offline (so couldn't play multiplayer) but this was fixed
    by power cycling. The next day I was able to play online for an hour. Now, while I am definitely connected to live, the game constantly says I'm offline.

    I have:

    Done various combos of removing my profile, resetting and downloading again

    I've signed in with a friends account. It says he is offline too.

    I've factory reset the console

    I've changed the DNS to 1.1.1.1

    I've cleared the alternate mac address

    I've connected via my phones WiFi hotspot - still says I'm connected to live but game says I'm offline.

    Please help Connected to xbox live but no multiplayer :)

    This needs expanding

    How did you get a multiplayer connection but not connect to Xbox Live? You need to be connected to Live to play multiplayer.

    When you run the network setup wizard on your Xbox One, when does the connection fail?
