Connected to Xbox Live but can't play online.

Hi.

So I've already chatted with someone from Xbox Support and nothing of what they said really helped at all. So I can connect to Xbox Live and all without a single problem. I've also checked the requirements for connections and there is nothing wrong when
I test my connection. However I cannot sign into an online game's (such as Call of Duty, Battlefield and Warface) main servers/services. This happens when I try to press "Xbox Live" in the multiplayer menu or simply try to play multiplayer.

What I already have tried: Cleared my cache. Power cycle. Redownloaded my profile onto my hard drive. Contated my ISP to refurbish my router. Restored my console's network settings to factory defaults.

Can't connect to xbox live.

I've been connected to xbox live all day. I cut my xbox off for a while, and went to play online again but i can't connect. reset router, pc still connected to internet, everythings good, but i can't connect to xbox live. has this happened to anybody else?

 

can't read the game manual for Halo: Reach on the xbox live marketplace.


I live in Georgia and I can't play online either the error message I keep getting is "Your console is connected to the internet but can't contact Xbox Live."

 

I noticed that you didn't list opening ports for xbox live on your router. Have you already done this as well?

 

My ISP got that covered when I contacted them.

 

You are saying that you have absolutely no error in a test connection through the network setting on the console, yet you can't use multiplayer services? What do you mean when you say 'refurbished' your router? Do you have any kind of DNS setting in the
network page on the console?
