Connected to Wifi but XB1 thinks it's offline. Can't connect to any Live services.

Hi all,

Xbox was working fine but now can't seem to access Live services. Xbox live status page said there are no issues and I can see my friends online playing without problems. Messaged them on their phones and they all say no problems.

When I check connection is says my connection is fine. Tried everything (unfortunately) and am now stuck with a factory reset console that is unable to update itself to work again.

Things I tried while chatting to support:

1) Signed out and in again

2) Hard reset of router and xbox

3) cleared bluray data and reset Mac address

3) Removed profile to try re-add it and was then unable to re-add the profile as it couldn't connect to Live.

4) Copied my games to HDD and then Factory reset.

My xbox is now stuck in the setup phase as it can't grab the update. Just says it's time to update but then says that there was a problem with the update.

My broadband is down ( BT Infinity ) and i can't access my games offline because i never set them up for offline playing, i am trying to connect my xbox1 to another wifi network ( BT Fon) my mac is connected to BT Fon but my xbox won't, would appreciate
any help.

Have you tried connecting straight to the router??

 

Have tried wired and wireless. Same problem both ways.

i think i am having the same problem, you see on the 1st of march i got the 1 month membership trial, and yesterday while playing gta 5 heists my xbox one turned off, 5 minutes later i came back and turned it on, only noticing i cant connect to gta online
and when i try to it says my profile dont have permission to do this, my 1 month trial dont run out till the 1/4/2016, and on the site it says i have live, but i cant connect to any online games..

also done everything except the factory reset, really dont wanna do that

Sorry about the trouble you're having, this issue should be resolved now. if you're still having trouble try power cycling your console by holding down the power button for 8-10 seconds until your Xbox One powers off. If you're still having trouble after
powering your console back on please let us know

 

Followed theses instructions because I was having the same issue.

Now I have deleted my profile and I get an 0x80a40019 error when trying to re-add my profile.

When I go to settings says "All services are available", but when I go into test connection I get "Your network is good but there are some XBOX service issues"

 

Greetings Forum, got the same issue. XB1 boots up, Networks WLAN is connected, NAT type open, but i cant connect to Twitch,Youtube, Store, My Profile ... simply cant connect to any online content. But XB1 means everyhting is good, I even have normal up/download/ping
in network test. So what could I do? Same with network cable

 

I am currently having the same issue. Any ideas on how to solve it? Ive already cleared bluray data, reconnected to my router, went offline and back online, and I cleared the alternate mac. My NAT Setting is Open.

 

A lot of folks are having this issue. I've done everything suggested, logged out, removed profile, restart console/router you name it and nothing is working.

 

Looks like XBox Live server getting a ddos attack... so we have to wait for monday, if MS network technician prepare there firewall Solong ... where is my ps4 .
