Connected to wi-fi but "service info is unavailable". Haven't been able to play ...

It says under current network status that I am connected with a Moderate NAT but it also says service info is unavailable and says I'm not connected when I test multiplayer connection. No pins loading and can't play anything online or watch Netflix or ESPN,
but can access the Xbox store and the Youtube app to watch videos. Never had any problem with Live until about 4 days ago when this all happened. When testing my network connection it claims I am online.

Ever since I had to adjust something to connect my I phone to wi fi... my xbox connection to wi fi has been dislodged. The wi fi router company that I dealt with - guided me through each step to get my phone connected, but has now caused the xbox to not
be connecting to the wi fi configuration. Please help! I am not so computer savy to be able to figure this out on my own.

 

Would you please perform a multiplayer connection test? In the result screen please hold LT, LB, RT and RB simultaneously to start the detailed connection test. Wait for the detailed NAT status and post back the results here.



The message "service info unavailable" just tells you, that your Xbox is not able to get the current status of xbl like it's displayed on the status site of Xbox.com

 

When running the mulitplayer connection test it says "Can't finish multiplayer tests (0X780)

After starting the detailed connection test Download speed, upload speed, packet loss, MTU, and Latency are all blank. Wireless strength is at 84%, NAT Moderate, "Your network is behind a port restricted NAT", Status code 0x404000200004D

 

I talked with my ISP and they said everything looks good on their end. They say that they are pulling an IP address from my Xbox and everything seems fine on their end.

 

Ok. The multiplayer network connection test is telling us, that there seem to be some port forwardings configured but as your NAT is only moderate there may be not all needed ports forwarded.

So please give us some more information on your network environment, especially which router you are usking and what steps you have already taken. Please tell us also,what portforwardings you have already configured.

If possible it would also be great if you could try to use a wired connection fot testing purposes, to see if the problems occure when wired, too, or only when connected wireless.

 

I live in an apartment run by a college realty company so don't have info on the router. Also I don't have any wired port to plug in to. I have called my ISP and they said that everything looks fine on their end (I asked them If i needed any ports to be
forwarded and they said no and that everything is showing up on their end that I am connected). They restarted the router (from their end) and said everything still looked fine.

I am going home in a week for xmas break and will be trying out my Xbox via that wireless connection and will see if it works then. I am just concerned since all other wireless devices seem to work on the current router I am connected to that something is
wrong with the console itself, which doesn't seem to make sense as I have had it for over a year and hadn't had any problems like this with Live since recently. Like I said, the ISP here said everything looked fine on their end and told me it must be an issue
with Microsoft.

 

Hm ok. Unfortunately your iSP support is wrong on this, as it does not look like you can use all ports needed by the xbox at all. This does not affect any other devices like PC, mobile or laptop of course. >But the One is affected as it works as some kind
of server when playing multiplayer games so it needs to have some ports forwarded or must be able to use them via upnp which both seems not to be working on your end.

If you need further assistance when testing this out during your holiday break just post back here and I will try to give you furhter assistance.

So I am now back to school and am still unable to connect to xbox live on my Xbox One. My 360 will connect and all other devices will as well, so I am assuming it is indeed an issue concerning forwarded ports. Do you know which ports need to be forwarded
that don't need to be on a 360, so I can call my ISP and tell them to forward them?

 

Have you fixed this issue yet? I just got this same problem today

 

i'm having the same problem it won't let me update Destiny.. i hope this gets fixed soon
