Connected to the internet but I cannot connect to Xbox Live

Yes, doing what bimnog said helped me out thanks pal! Been having that problem for around 2/3 days! Couldnt get onto live even tho was signed is! Was getting me so angry haha

 

I *have* purchased my Xbox One library almost exclusively as digital downloads, and I'm becoming extremely annoyed with these constant "Live Issues" that have been flashing up of late. I've power cycled both Xbox and Modem (to which I'm hard-lined), signed
out and back in, all to no avail. I simply turn it off, go about my day and hope to the powers that be (ie:Microsoft) that my incredibly expensive entertainment system will work when I try it next. I've paid for my copies of these games, and yet through no
fault of my own I am unable to enjoy them whenever Live goes "Unlive". Either sell these digital downloads at a significantly lower fee due to the inconvenience, make it so they'll work w/o Live connection (obviously strict anti-pirating protection) or, OR
make Live more reliable. This is ridiculous.

 

lots of these issues are do to the router you may be using or its settings imo.....isp issued equipment is the absolute worst ...

 

The issues to which I am referring to have nothing to do w/my ISP equipment; there have been several occasions within the past two weeks where Live has been either completely unavailable or partially compromised (network settings blocking party as an example).
I fail to see why I should be kept from enjoying my property as well as the licenses I've paid for to hold simply because a third party system hits a glitch. If all digital software is Live reliant, then I hold true to my earlier statements; either make them
less expensive due to the fact that you can't use them when you choose, only when Microsoft's online service is available, make them able to work WITHOUT being connected to Live, or make Live more reliable.

 

I've just signed out and in and it connected ☺
