Connected to network but can’t play!

Thank you so much for the detailed information. We may need to perform an extended powercycle and reset your network hardware by following the steps below:

1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

Unfortunately I don’t have any other available wireless networks to try it on. My next troubleshooting option is to try removing my Xbox Live profile and rebooting. (I’m away from home right now)

After resetting my Xbox, I was able to download my game no problem, but it thinks I’m not connected to the internet when I try logging into the game. (Elder Scrolls Online)

If this is happening with multiple devices it can be an issue with your account or the network connection.

Have you tried using a different network connection such as a mobile hotspot?

It says connect to xbox network but I can’t

Xbox 360 can’t connect to network but was working fine a week ago? Tried the usual remedies nothing is working. Two xbox ones running on same network without issues.
