Connected to internet, but won't connect to Live

I followed these steps from another post and am trying to re log on, and am getting error message 0x80a40019. Going on a week now.

To solve the issue you are experiencing I suggest you to remove the account from your console, clear the console cache and download your account again. Follow the step by step instructions:

a)To remove the account from xbox live console:

Scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide.

Select Settings.

Select All Settings.

Under "Account," select Remove accounts.

Select the account that you want to remove.

Select Remove to confirm.

When you're finished, select Close.

b) To clear cache on an Xbox One:

Press and hold the power button on the front of the console until it powers down completely.

Unplug the power cable from the back of the console so that the power brick in not connected to the console.

Press the power button on the console three or four times. This will ensure that any remaining power in the battery is drained, clearing the cache on the console.

Plug the power cable back into the console.

Wait for the light on the power brick to change from white to orange.

Turn on the console using the power button.

c)To download your Xbox profile to the Xbox One console:

1. Scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide.

2. Scroll down, and then select Add & manage.

3. Select Add new.

4. Enter the email address for the Microsoft account that's associated with your Xbox profile, and then select Enter.

5. Enter the password for your Microsoft account, and then select Enter.

6. Read the Microsoft Service Agreement and Privacy Statement, and then select I Accept.

7. Follow the steps to configure your Sign-In & Security preferences and download your Xbox profile to your Xbox One console.

It's all good message but no live connection

i have tried everything to get my live connected but it won't. network connction working along with an internet feed but it won't connect to live... HELP!

Yesterday I had a problem with signing into xbox live. It said that I was connected to the internet but I had a button to the right saying that I needed to connect to xbox live. Clicking that 100 times did not do anything. I tried to do the hard reset 5
times. That did nothing. I attempted a factory reset, everything seemed to go ok until I reached the update tab. Now I have the screen that says "There was a problem with your update- you need this update to use your console, but something went wrong"Is there
anything I can do to fix this or do I have to buy another one or is this fixable ?

 

This error is associated with the Xbox Live service experiencing an outage. If the servers are back to normal, perform a
power cycle on your Xbox.

Checked and there doesn't seem to be an outage anymore. Still not working though.
