Connected to Internet, but can't sign into XBL with my account

Modem brand & model number: N/A (at school, using their routers)

Router brand & model number: N/A (at school, using their routers)

Wired or wireless: Wired

Things you have tried: Signing out, restarting xbox, unplugging from wired network, testing network connections (all say they are connected and good to go)

Is UPnP Enabled?: Unknown

Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type? No error, but Strict Nat type

Any Error Codes you encounter: Trying to view my friends (0x87c40000)

Who is your ISP?(Internet Service Provider): Not quite sure, they don't really tell us much.

When I first turn on my console, before I sign in, it shows everything like normal. Such as the Apps, Games, Movies, and pins on the Xbox, but it once I sign into my profile, it takes all those away. On the right side, it says that there could be issues with
connecting on Xbox's end, but I don't see how I can see the internet without my Xbox Live Account signed in, and can't when it is signed it. Just would like some help with this, or if anyone else is experiencing this issues. Thanks guys!

My Xbox Is Connected To The Internet But It Wont Let Me Sign Into XBL!!

Today i tried to sign on to XBL and it woudlnt let me. So i troubleshooted and checked my connection and my 360 connects to my wireless network, which is connected to the internet, and CAN get onto XBL....But my 360 will not sign into XBL . Help Please

 

Do I have to use hotmail email?

Go on live.com and sign in. I use my yahoo account to sign into it. I don't want my XBL email account connected to live.com

 

Im experiencing this right now.. It gives me the error code '0x87DD0017'. I Error searched it and nothings come up..

Doing the same thing to me tells me im connected to the internet but when i try to play says it could not recieve my dat from my profile

 

the usual fix for that is to just sign out of your profile , then back in...

 

This started with the last update for me. Signing out and back into my profile worked. I was able to sign in and play with no issues.

 

Guys if your console says you are connect to NET and just can't connect to XBL just do the follow steps:

1. Remove, re-add your account. Go to Settings > All Settings > Account > Remove Account > Select your GT and remove.

2. Hard Reset, once the profile is removed. Just press and hold the power button of your console until it shuts off, then unplug for at least 2 minutes before turning back on.

3. Once the console is back on after the hard reset, add your account back in on Manage account and you're all good.

Game on!!

 

Tried that already but did not work still experiencing the same problems
