Connect to Xbox Live......

so my new xbox one I just got one week ago says it is connected to the internet but when I go home it says connect to xbox live so I go and do my wifi stuff and then it says its good and I go home and it says the same thing I have tried to restart it but
it wont work I don't know what to do I want to play on my xbox but I get an error code 0x87de2714 and I searched it but it says what I have been doing I cant do anything on it can you please help me?

There is no button or menu to connect!

The system is not connected, I do a network test and it passes, but still is not connected... I can't do anything with the X1 if it's not connected to live!

Is there a way to manually connect to Xbox live in this console?

This issue just came up for me. It happened after the latest preview update i think.

I have all games digital because I gameshare with my brother. I have bought about half the games and he bought the other half. Now i expect to not be able to play the games i bought when there is an xbl outage, but i can't even play the games he purchased
offline (i have his home console so i get his games offline and visa versa). I have tried everything from the support article asking me to do a network test, from hard resetting, power cycling the xbox and my router, all to no avail. please tell me how to
correct this. and is there anything besides reinstalling the games that i can try? it seems like xbl think i have no licenses for the games.

The solution is simple, stop buying microsoft products until they actually provide functioning hardware along with operable network systems and begin to provide some real support to their overpaying and loyal customers. I'm ready to switch over to playstation
after having problem after problem with both my 360 as well as my xbox1, not to mention the constant crashes that the xbox live system has.

 

This is now gone beyond funny,sort this crap out Microsoft.

 

Having problem right now where I can't play ANY GAME. Says to make sure I'm online or to make my xbox a home xbox. Had my xbox as the home xbox since start and nothing wrong with internet so what is going on.

 

So is there not a solution?

 

Same Here, I'm online even at a party but cant play games error code 0x87de2714 (Say Whaaaat!) Oh just to add I can enter the store and buy games....

 

After looking at a handful of threads, nobody, not even microsoft (surprising, right?) has a solution. I'm waiting on Chat, but they'll probably tell me to reset my xbox and router like everyone else.

Same thing just happened to me. Can't connect to Xbox Live on my Xbox One but funnily enough can on my Xbox 360. Keeps telling me to check my network but when I do it says it's working fine. Won't let me play any of the downloaded games.

 

I'm wondering if the hackers are still hacking. I know they did Christmas day and the day after. PSN for sure has been down.
