Connect to xbox live, but display looks like im offline. No games with gold section

Hi everyone,

My internet says I am connected when I run a connection test, and I can see my friends who are online, however the home screen doesnt display any xbox live content and my games say I am not connected. I can use my laptop and phone fine in the same room,
so i know my wifi works well, and i was signed on and using the xbox a few weeks ago and it worked fine as well... Any ideas?

My nat type is set to open.

and we've tried resetting the router.

Yeah, it worked now ...rebooted. So I'm offline. So let me get this straight, your offline right now but you will go online once services are back up?Click to expand... Im offline because Live is down. But I didnt manually select "Go offline" to play my games. Ive always been able to play my games if Xbox Live is down.

No your on about games with free play days from the games with gold section, they was full downloadable games with your xbox live gold membership.

Your Xbox Live gold membership may have expired. Messaging friends and seeing friends online can also be done with the Silver Membership (free). If that's not the case, restart your xbox. Internet connection might be slow or went offline for a period and
couldn't display or download all the content.

If you look on the case of the game then there should be a table with 2 columns. Next to the 'Players' section, look under the 'Xbox One' heading and it says there.

If you bought the game via the on console store, look at the section over the description. for example on GTAV it says 'Players: 1-1/Xbox One, 2-30 Xbox Live Gold'.
