The only reason I have the Xbox windows app is to play Sea of Thieves.

I am incredibly dissapointed in Microsoft's handling of this launch. I've been able to play maybe three hours of a game that I PRE ORDERED for about $80.

My issue today is that I can't even launch the game.

I am able to sign into windows, I am online, I am posting this.

I am able to sign into the Xbox live app and see my profile and friends list and in the network area it shows conncted with no errors, no blocks, nothing.

but when I try to open the game, I get a windows popup

You need to be online to open this, connect to a network.

The app knows I'm connected, it says so in the network screen.

Please assist, or I will be requesting a full refund of this game. The fact that an error like this is happening at all is hilarious. IT'S YOUR PLATFORM and you can't even run it better than third parties? (steam)

Whenever I try to start any game it says

For this game you need to be online. Set this to my home xbox and the code (0x803f9008).

I am connected to xbox live and the connection is solid. I let my friend set my profile to his home xbox almost 3 years ago. I haven't had this issue the whole time while I was online. I just got the one x and it was fine until my friend tried to sign into
my profile a couple days ago. He kept getting the password wrong and said chose he forgot the password. He didn't go any further but now I can't play games with the profile I bought them all on and I'm connected to live. I can go on the store and watch Hulu
and netflix.

If anyone has thus issue or know how to fix it without setting my profile as my home it would be appreciated.
