    Hi I'm thinking of buying a xbox s. What's the diffence between xbox live and game Pass? Also can I have game pass without xbox live. And how much are they each a year?

    Xbox Live Gold gives you Multiplayer, 4 free games a month, Discounts on games.

    Xbox Game Pass gives you over 100 games to play as long as you have the subscription.

    Yes you can have Game Pass without having Xbox Live Gold.

    If you want both, then choose Game Pass Ultimate, which combines Xbox Game Pass for PC, Xbox Game Pass for Xbox and Xbox Live Gold, and coming soon Xcloud, were you will be able to play the games on Game Pass on your mobile device too.

    If you buy the xbox game pass/ultimate game pass before purchasing xbox live gold. Your game pass benifts will only last for the time it lasts. Although a good to know trick, is buying gold first and then the ultimate game pass, and your 6months gold will
    be converted into 6months of ultimate. Hopefully you understand, I also found it confusing at first :)
