    Confused about getting my controller serviced


    I enter in my personal info and such along with the product ID.

    Your product is eligible for the following service. Please select a service type from the list below.

    "Xbox One - Wireless Controller - Black - SEN - Paid (USD 60.00)"

    Does this mean I have to actually PAY to get this fixed?

    Yes, it is possible to get your controller replaced. And you where indeed right when you said alot of people are also having this issue.

    You can get it repaired and if you still have your one year warranty, it will be free. The average repair time is 14 to 21 days for customers in the United States, including shipping time to and from our service center.

    But why is it "paid"? I got the same and it was before entering my creditcard details - i'm waiting for feedback from microsoft

    Hi there

    This was well over 2 years ago and I'm using the same controller. It fixed itself for me. IF I RECALL it did give me an option to just buy a new controller due to no warranty on it. It's been dropped a few times or so since then, but it overall works fine.

    Edit: Yes, 'paid' seems to have indicted that Xbox went "lol just buy a new controller from us bro"

    This was well over 2 years ago and I'm using the same controller. It fixed itself for me. IF I RECALL it did give me an option to just buy a new controller due to no warranty on it. It's been dropped a few times or so since then, but it overall works fine.

    Yeah i was thinking about using my wireless controller because i have 3 of them already but thought it might be easier and cheaper to get a basic wired pad, if i hook up a wireless receiver won't that get confused if i have my xbox and pc on at the same
    time and start up one of my controllers.
